Vision Express relaunched their website after working with BFI on a major redesign. We now continue the 9-year relationship through the ongoing maintenance and development of the site, as well as many aspects of their digital presence including in-store product demonstrations and e-learning applications.
With over 160 years in the field, CASE IH is a global leader in the supply and repair of agriculture and farm equipment.
CASE IH needed a website implementation for all its UK dealerships. The sites had to maintain dealership individuality and content, while giving the UK head office overall control. Dealerships needed a fast-to-market, easily updateable solution on which to advertise used stock and machinery. CASE IH also wanted to increase brand awareness through its dealer network.
With over 400 bikes on display across a massive 16,000 sq ft, Wheelbase is the UK’s largest cycle store.
We’ve worked with Wheelbase on many iterations of the website through a relationship that spans over 15 years. The latest project saw an entirely new website built using Magento; BFI worked on the bespoke development and integration, whilst Wheelbase worked on the design & HTML in-house.
The new website is feature-rich with many bespoke features, but most importantly the website is fully integrated with Ascend RMS, the EPoS system provided by Trek to its bicycle dealerships. This was the first time Ascend RMS & Magento had been connected, a bespoke integration BFI engineered from the ground up.
We worked with creative agency Origami Penguin on this project; they provided the creative elements and we built and integrated the website in the role of technical development specialists. The bespoke ecommerce platform had to a bi-directional exchange of data which involved Sage integration for product and sales data processing. With the customer being a direct importer of oriental rugs and carpets, the system is built for wholesalers and trade customers only, who register to have account facilities.
ChouChoute (pronounced shoo-shoot) make their very own hand made luxurious chocolates and trade globally out of their shop in the heart of Birmingham’s financial area. The design and functionality of the web site was to be visually appealing and representative of the luxury handmade chocolates, which they sell worldwide. The bespoke ecommerce system had its technical challenges due to the requirement that a customer can have multiple delivery addresses, especially useful if you are doing your Christmas shopping for a number of people but only wish to have one sales order.

BOC chose BFI to plan, design and implement a new e-commerce project – “Ryval Gas” – offering the rental of gas cylinders and gas & welding accessories to the general public.
Faced with some technical challenges we used our experience of delivering bespoke ecommerce solutions where an off the shelf solution wasn’t available or suitable. The design and user interface of the web site was to be focussed on the hobbyist home welders, therefore requiring an easy and effective way to purchase rental gas cylinders.
We were contacted by Veho Solutions in order to design and build a new online system capable of managing all of the different elements and processes of their specialist business. The system consolidated all of the data and documentation that was involved in the day to day running of the business. The system brought many benefits especially in efficiency, customer satisfaction, cost savings, data centralisation and no longer having to manage and maintain localised back-ups of data and paper documents. The system has a continued development path and benefits from both parties ideas of improvements and enhancements.
Supporting projects that increase the motivation & morale for the serving RAF community, the RAF Central Fund was set up in 1919 and looks after those who serve in the RAF and their families.
The new RAF Sports Lottery gives you the chance to win £10,000 every week and is promoted through a new website built by BFI. This WordPress-powered CMS allows quick and easy management of all website content, whilst a bespoke online payment manager has been built and integrated to allow streamlined sign-up via Payment Card and Direct Debit. The lottery is managed through in partnership with Sterling Lotteries. A more comprehensive phase 2 website is due live in August.
Industry leaders Cake Craft Shop have worked with us since 2003. The latest generation of their online store features a comprehensive order management backend with pick list generation, barcode scanning and direct courier integration to facilitate efficient fulfilment of orders.
Rocialle are experts in supplying clinical solutions to healthcare providers, vital to patient care. BFI worked in partnership with them to design and build a comprehensive integration platform, where live data is exchanged with Microsoft Dynamics for customer accounts, orders & product information.
Grand Vision are the parent company of Vision Express and are a leading optical retailer, operating almost 5,000 stores in 41 other countries globally. We were asked to develop a cross platform cloud based application that would allow each business to share a common product database irrespective of in-house business software or available technology. This would allow building and populating of their own product catalogue along with optional extras and visual demonstrations to maximise the customer experience whilst improving the efficiency and value of the sale.
Sterling Lotteries provide fundraising lotteries for a wide range of organisations. BF Internet worked alongside creative agency Cactus to deliver an attractive new web site with CMS functionality.
Diabetes UK are the UK’s leading Diabetes charity. Working in partnership with our client Sterling Lotteries, BFI were tasked with designing & building an independent website to support the Diabetes UK lottery, where £1,000 can be won every Friday.
The website has been designed within strict brand guidelines and in keeping with the main diabetes.org.uk website, whilst having its own identity so that it stands apart. When Guardian Surgical were looking for an agency to redesign their existing website, we were their first choice. Guardian Surgical are a British company who manufacture and supply an extensive range of surgical drapes, gowns and tray wraps to healthcare providers in the UK and internationally. The brief was simple, a clean, responsive design offering easy navigation to key areas of the web site that could easily be updated by the client. Our solution was a fully featured Content Management System with an attractive design, offering visitors to the web site “one click” call to actions.

The brief was clear to provide an attractive professional looking web site with an on-line property system that offers one central property database with front-end search functionality for visitors looking for commercial property. Our bespoke CMS cloud-based solution allows easy editing of the web site content, one central place for the management of all property that Hyde Harrington have available for sale or rent and is available around the clock for any out of hour’s enquiries.
Working with the NHS, BF Internet produced a powerful CMS website to provide a wide range of information for the North West Research Design Service.
