Lakeside Hotel and Spa is a luxurious 4-star destination in one of the most beautiful and restful places in the region.
We have maintained a great working relationship with the team at Lakeside for over 10 years and were asked to re-develop their flagship website.
In addition to comprehensive information about their spa, amazing rooms and award winning food we were also asked to develop an ecommerce giftshop. We also needed to integrate the website with Guestlink DBM system and comprehensive tracking for end to end customer visibility.
Lakeside also suggested that we kickstart their SEO and optimise the content accordingly.
We suggested that Lakeside Hotel improve the user journey for booking a stay. Previous incarnations of the website sent visitors to a 3rd party website and we needed to find an elegant solution for integrating the website with their chosen booking system – Guestlink.
In addition to a comprehensive review of each room type, we integrated seamslessly with a slide in booking system which is easily accessible form any point on the website.
See the featureUsing WooCommerce’s native functionality we were able to create a gift shop so the Hotel could offer redeemable vouchers to visitors. Offering afternoon tea, spa and hotel visits and vouchers for the restaurant this creates another useful revenue stream and further user engagement.
Visitors have the option to personalise vouchers and have them sent in a gift box, luxury envelope or direct via email.
